Sauris by Nature

Real people and wild mountains. Sauris, or Zahre in the local dialect of Germanic origin, is a small village with 430 inhabitants in the region of the Carnic Alps in Friuli Venezia Giulia. An enchanting place where time follows its own rhythm. The essence of Sauris is reflected in all aspects of this peaceful, well hidden corner of the earth: in its customs and traditions, language and architecture.
